B.V.Sc is a medical course which deals with the study of veterinary medicine. During the 5.5 years of the B.V.Sc course, candidates study the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in all forms of animals. After completing the B.V.Sc course, candidates become doctors or popularly known as vets. Admission to the B.V.Sc course is granted on the basis of the NEET exam. In addition to qualifying NEET, candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in their class 12 qualifying exam to study B.V.Sc course. The Veterinary Council of India conducts the admission of B.VSc course. In addition to NEET, there are other state-level entrance tests conducted for admission to state B.V.Sc seats. These state-level B.V.Sc entrance tests include RPVT , KEAM, KCET, and WBJEE.
