Bachelor of Physiotherapy - B.Pth or BPT

Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a 4.5 year-long course including a six-month internship. Candidates who pursue physiotherapy are known as physiotherapists. The demand and use of physiotherapy in the treatment of disorders have increased significantly over the years. To pursue BPT, students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their class 12. BPT course is offered by some of the most popular institutes in India. BPT colleges includeGuru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University ,SRM Medical College Hospital, and Research Centre, Chennai, andMedical Trust Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin to name a few. Admission to BPT courses is granted on the basis of entrance tests. While some colleges accept NEET scores for admission to UG physiotherapy courses, most of the institutes conduct their own entrance tests. It must be noted that NEET is not a mandatory exam for admission to Bachelors in Physiotherapy courses.
